• 360 Indoor Air Solutions Approach
    • Takes a 'whole building envelope' approach to remediating mould problems, not just treating the area specifically impacted by mould. With 48 hours of water intrusion mould spores begin traveling throughout the home or building. To eliminate these traveling contaminants 360 Indoor Air treats the entire home including fogging or misting the remaining areas of the home not specifically impacted, cleaning the HVAC system, HEPA vacuuming and cleaning the entire home including carpets and furniture, and confirming that the home or building is fit to re-occupy through the conduct of an independent air quality test.
    • Will develop an accurate project cost estimate and determine a realistic completion schedule. We will start the work immediately upon authorization with a team of certified mould remediation professionals that remain on site throughout the remediation project.
    • We do not perform unnecessary exploratory work which could result in unnecessary cost and damage. Our processes only remove contaminated and other materials that are necessary to reach and remedy the mold source.
    • All 360 Indoor Air Solutions products used in the treatment of mould are people and pet friendly. All chemicals used in the treatments are non-toxic. Extra precautions are taken where 'at risk’ individuals inhabit or work in the structure to be remediated.
    • Where possible, we salvage and restore - instead of tear down and replace. Because of this approach mould remediation, abatement and restoration of an infested site is now possible at reasonable cost.
  • 360 Indoor Air Solutions Procedures

360 Indoor Air Solutions uses a ‘whole building envelope’ approach to mould remediation and procedures include:

    • Determining the root cause of your mould growth which will always involve water-related issues at some point
    • Thoroughly drying any water-damaged areas
    • Advising how to control excessive moisture and/or high humidity within the building envelope
    • Sealing off the contaminated area to guard against mould spores traveling to and infecting other areas of the structure
    • Fogging the contaminated area with a proprietary product to reduce air-borne spores and to begin the process of inhibiting mould growth on surfaces within the contaminated area
    • Removing contaminated materials that cannot salvaged such as ceiling tiles, baseboards and drywall
    • Applying a proprietary non-toxic cleaner/treatment to rigorously clean and decontaminate the remaining salvageable materials to ensure that all mould is removed
    • Applying a high performance, safe, and environmentally friendly encapsulating fungicide which seals the treated material and prevents mould re-growth.
    • Once the primary mould contaminated area has been remediated, the remainder of the home or building is treated to eliminate potential mould problems including:
      • Fogging or misting the entire home with our proprietary non-toxic cleaner
      • Cleaning the HVAC system
      • HEPA vacuuming and cleaning the entire home including carpets and furniture
      • Deodorizing affected areas if required
      • Confirming that the home or building is fit to re-occupy through the conduct of an independent air quality test.
    • Testing for the presence of mould, moisture levels and relative humidity before and after remediation procedures
    • The entire process is carried out in accordance with strict protocols which are meticulously followed in order to protect the health of both those living and working in the building as well as those performing the remediation work.
  • Duct Cleaning

360 Indoor Air Solutions will ensure that your HVAC system will be returned to safe operational standards as an important part of our mould remediation program.

During the initial inspection of the HVAC system, it must be determined through visual examination and mould sampling if there is biological growth in the A/C ducts, in the air handler, on the coils or if excessive spores are present in the interior air space. If mould is detected in any of the above mentioned areas it is necessary to perform a corrective cleaning of the HVAC system in order to achieve and maintain acceptable indoor air quality.

360 Indoor Air Solutions uses state-of-art air duct cleaning equipment and techniques. This cleaning is distinct from the normal maintenance of the HVAC system to remove dust, dirt and incidental debris. Corrective air duct cleaning is a thorough cleaning method performed exclusively to ensure the removal of biological contaminants. Corrective air duct cleaning is designed to prevent settled mould spores from dispersing themselves after the remediation process is completed and the HVAC system re-started.
If you have just moved in to a new home or apartment and are not sure of the life style habits of the previous owner or occupants, alleviate your concerns with a thorough sanitization of the ENTIRE BUILDING ENVELOPE INCLUDING:
  • Thorough fogging of the home or apartment interior to kill airborne pollutants
  • HEPA vacuuming to eliminate 99.9% of killed airborne pollutants.
  • Use of microfibre mops and dust cloths to wipe down wall & ceilings
  • Thorough fogging and cleaning of HVAC system and ducts.
  • Thorough cleaning and HEPA vacuuming of carpets.
  • MOULD INSPECTIONS

360 Indoor Air Solutions is committed to providing our customers with useful, actionable Inspection Reports. Your first step is to contact us for an objective inspection. We shall perform the necessary visual inspection of the property, along with specific lab tests as we deem necessary. We provide you with a recommended remediation course of action if required. If remediation work is required, the inspection report will include recommended remediation procedures and can be used as the basis for preparing a formal quote for the work.

An essential tool used by us in our inspection procedures is our state-of-the-art INFRARED CAMERA. This allows us to spot suspect areas not visible to the naked eye which helps in locating areas that have the potential for mould growth.

  • HOME INSPECTIONS

This is a more comprehensive report focused on the entire house and is recommended prior to concluding the purchase of a home. It also involves use of our INFRARED CAMERA to identify suspect areas not visible to the naked eye including:

    • Building envelope
    • Roof
    • Foundation
    • Thermal bridging
    • Insulation
Indoor Air Solutions is a full-service organization, performing all services from start to finish. By providing comprehensive services, we are able to complete the reconstruction which allows you to occupy your home in a timely manner, if this was included in the terms of the remediation engagement. 360 Indoor Air Solutions handles all phases of reconstruction from simple drywall repairs to complete renovations of kitchens and bathrooms.

360 Indoor Air is involved in the elimination of bed bugs and other pests using a "Green" system similar to that used for mould remediation.

The system is based on the use of 'dry' or 'super heated steam' which kills all bed bugs including eggs thereby eliminating 2 generations at once and completely breaking the breeding cycle.

Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) is the federal agency responsible for the regulation of pest control products in Canada. On it's website it confirms that steam cleaning is effective in killing bed bugs and fleas in all stages of their life cycle.

This process contributes to better air quality by reducing chemical residuals and removing airborne particles. The steam vapor consists of pure water and air with a moisture content of just 5%. Most soft furnishings and carpets are dry within 15 minutes and there is no residue. It is referred to as 'dry' stream as so little water is used and so little water is left behind.

The Dry Steam Procedure includes:
  1. Treating the mattresses & other upholstered furniture in the room identified with the problem
  2. Applying Dry Steam to the entire room with specific emphasis on those areas most like to house bed bugs (base boards, etc.)
  3. After treating the area with Dry Steam, the area is vacuumed thoroughly with HEPA vacuums to remove any particulate matter.
You do not have to isolate or close off rooms during or after treatment. The area is left fresh and can be used almost immediately unlike chemical pesticides which generally leave a smell.
